To replace a legacy trade surveillance system, a major hedge fund engaged Caspian One to build an agile, end-to-end kdb+ solution. With £5.4 million in funding and a team of six onsite specialists deployed within three weeks, Caspian One designed, built, and tested a high-performance trade surveillance platform in collaboration with the client’s 100-person global team.

In 2018, we modernised a 20+ year old derivatives trading platform for one of Canada's top financial institutions. This involved decommissioning the current platform, modernizing the bank's XVA systems, and redeveloping the new platform from design to development, delivered under tight budget constraints.

A leading broadcast service provider needed to onboard major broadcasters to their new Managed Playout service under tight deadlines. Caspian One provided specialised resources and project management expertise, leveraging previous migration experience to ensure timely delivery and mitigate financial risks, ultimately supporting the provider in meeting their high-stakes goals.

Caspian One was engaged by a leading media services provider to upgrade their in-house scheduling software to Linux Red Hat 8 and migrate Puppet code within a two-month deadline. By assembling a team of specialist Linux and DevOps engineers, we delivered the project at a fixed price, ensuring the solution was fully upgraded on time, with regular updates and transparent communication throughout the process.

A nationwide OB service provider needed to expand their remote production facility by attaining Junior Project Engineers. Caspian One tapped into their market knowledge and network, approaching universities for referrals and identifying resources from recently liquidated companies. The client successfully acquired two Junior Project Engineers, who have since increased both the capacity and quality of the provider’s productions. 

In 2020, we assisted a European Investment Bank in decommissioning its legacy eFX platform and transitioning to a microservices architecture. The project involved developing a low latency pricing, hedging, and trading stack, and enhancing the Single Dealer Platform, improving planning and governance processes.
