Caspian One has a long history of securing in-demand skills and capabilities for a global clientele... throughout the Broadcast industry.
Though based in the UK, our clients, partners, and candidates can be found worldwide - with networks and relationships spanning the international media landscape.
From meeting traditional broadcast needs (production, post, playout etc.) in the Middle East, to sourcing technical expertise for Europe’s growing communities of broadcasters, manufacturers and service provider communities (particularly in the Nordics, Germany, the Netherlands and Benelux) - we’ve used our detailed knowledge of the TV ecosystem to provide clients with an adaptable portfolio of skills resourcing services.
Much of our international expansion can be linked to established UK clients; as a result of recommendations, our reputation and achievements. In the United States, increased Cloud migration and the growth of file-based workflows alongside Broadcast IP innovations, have contributed to an increased demand for our services - particularly in the last decade.
One example is our relationship with client, LAWO... which by coincidence, began at the IBC event, 2017. LAWO’s Senior Vice-President of Global Operations, Sam Schauland, met with Caspian One’s Carl Hemsley to request assistance with a challenging Head of Sales and Solutions Engineering role.
Since then, successes with this role and others have only strengthened that partnership – seeing us collaborate with numerous contacts across the organisation. Example hires include a Broadcast Technology Specialist in New York, a Head of Project Management in New Jersey, a Technical Support Specialist (outside broadcast, SMPTE 2110, IP) in Ontario and a Broadcast Engineering Specialist (projects, commissioning, design) in Toronto.
